Halloween H20?!
Question: im about to watch it,i know its nine years old and ive seen it before but what do you think of this version to the halloween series,and by the way it starts at 11:50pm on sky movies SD1.

It was ok, mindless but entertaining enough. Quick question to Steelerguy; Did you see Halloween 3? It didn't have anything to do with the rest of the series and Micheal Myers wasn't even in it. It was just a crappy movie about some killer masks. Surely this was the worst? But then again what do I know, I loved the Rob Zombie remake which everyone else seemed to hate.
Edit; Yeah that's what I liked about it too. Think it's cool to see the back story. Psycho kids are always so much creepier.

Well I liked the way they done H20 as its a follow on from Halloween II as the other movies they made in between Halloween II and H20 sucked. (even though I own all on DVD)
Halloween III was good but I can't class this as a Halloween movie as it dosen't have Michael Myers.
The new Rob Zombie Halloween I thought was awful.
It's a horrible movie, by far the worst of the series. It was made with no love for the "Halloween" series and features tons of "goofs" and mistakes. Basically it was made to cash in on the then-current postmodern "Scream" ethic and the makers just decided to rape the "Halloween" series to get some cash.
Edit: Yes, I have seen the third one and it's excellent, the second best of the series. It doesn't matter that it had nothing to do with the other movies; it was great.
Wasn't bad. Good way to end the sreis until Resurection came and f'ed that up.
