Question: Is anyone else upset that they're changing the book!! It's supposd to be set in IRELAND!! not America!! I loved the book but i am dreading this movie which i will watch out of curiosity!!

I have not read the book but i did want to see the film...
That sucks! I hate when movies deviate drastically from the books they're based upon (and changing the country its set in is drastic to me)

I never read the book, but i enjoyed the movie.
just because they have changed the setting doesn't mean that they will lose the sentimentality of the book, all you Can do is watch the film and make up your own mind.

im Irish and i haven't read the book nor will i see the film it looks **** they always do that were getting our own back for every time a foreign film is made and all of a sudden an American comes in and ruin's history the gangs of new york for example the Irish and Italians at that time did not like each other but in the film there were no Australians only Americans you ruined history
