There have been no press releases or studio talk of another Pirates film at all, I don't believe. So, I'm sorry to say, for the time being there is no plans to make another "Pirates" movie.
Keira and Orlando have both bowed out of returning for a fourth Pirates movie, although it does look like they'd both be back at the end of the third one.
It's been said that if the Pirate series does continue, it'll just be with Jack, which no matter how much I love Johnny Depp and his character, I hope Orlando and Keira change their minds and return for another :D
in an interview i saw two weeks ago jerry bruckheimer said he does want to make a fourth one but he wants to let people rest,and also with the whole writers strike going on he wouldnt know exactly when or if he could start writing.

I think they will. Cuz on an interview I was watching on t.v.. Some people was asking Johnny Depp, and the director of all 3 movies, if there was going to be a 4th movie. They said probably so, but they really don't know right now. You'll have to wait and see.
I hope not...the 3rd one was a disappointment.
NO, there will not be a Pirate of the Caribbeans 4 because Johnny Depp is getting too old, so he can't keep up with Orlando Bloom. (^_^)

According to multiple articles, the cast is taking a indefinite break after filming 2 and 3 back to back
however part 4 is in the planning stages and has no set date yet for production or release.
I heard something a while back about Disney Buying the Rights to a book to Create the Fourth Pirates Movie.
