here in Sydney every 2ND Friday at midnight they do the rocky horror movie and people get up front in costume and sing and act out the movie
even people in the cinema get up and sing and dance

Yeah, I went to a midnight screening of Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl before opening day. As a matter of fact, midnight showings are getting more popular. Theaters give a midnight showing to about anything they know's gonna be a blockbuster.
i've seen movies at midnight showings before....... it was only star wars movies though..... i saw all the ones i was alive for at the midnight opening......
