In the movie halloween why did he want to kill his younger sister?!

Halloween (1978) - It was later revealed (6th movie) that Michael was under a curse which he is supposed to wipe out his entire family to prevent his society from being destroyed by plague or drought. That ruined the whole entire series for me, i just love Michael because he has no intentions.
Halloween (2007) - Rob Zombie re invented John Carpenters masterpeice, so it was now Rob's movie to make, and so he mixed things up a bit. Michael was only in search of his sister because, simply, he loved her. He loved her so much he'd literally kill for her, so he killed everyone in his path to get to her, and no one knew he was trying to find his sister because he loved her. he killed those people to get to her and because he's psycho.
Remember in the beginning? He loves his newborn baby sister, and he never forgot her.

He was a possessed child lol, i really didnt follow the remake, was a piece of s.h.i.t. rob zombie needs to find a diff. career..
He didn't do all that searching to kill her in the remake, He was searching for her because he wanted to be with her. In a loving brother kind of way. She freaked out on him and then he wanted to kill her. He just wanted to show her love like he did when she was a baby. At least thats what I got from it.
