Answers: I have most of it, but do not understand who shot who in the one scene?

do you mean the bullet catching scene?
Hugh jackman's character shot christian bale's character because he blames bale for the death of his wife when she couldn't untie the knot underwater in the beginning.

so a guy had a twin brother he's been hiding since they were born , they were switching wives/girlfriends and that's why sometimes they seemed sad sometimes happy because they where sharing everything , in the end the other magician thingy shoots one of the brothers and the other brother kills the enemy that shot his brother the end

Like it was the real Angier. He had a twin. So, the other Angier had his two fingers chopped off to match the other one who had them shot off.

There are two twin brothers, and they shared the identity of Alfred Borden (Christian Bale). And while one of them pretended to be Alfred, the other would dress up as Alfred's mute assistant (remember the guy that Angier buryed alive?). And day after day they switched identities as the mute assistant and Alfred. And sometimes, both of them were Alfred at the same time to make the transporting man trick work. So when one of the twin brothers was arrested, the other swore to get revenge and kill Angier for the crime that Borden didn't commit. So in other words, one of the twin brothers shot Angier at the end.
