Hate to say it but I try to watch the really scary ones but usually turn them off. So, I usually stick with the "Scream" or "I Know What You Did Last Summer" type of horror movies.

The Ring or The Eye, not the Hollywood version but the original ones! Yikes! I have goosebumps rite' now!

Disturbia... Sweeney Todd

I KNow what u did last summer - Doom (doom aint that scary) uhhhhhhhh A Letter from a killer - When a stranger calls

i luv scary movies but the first one i named is so scary most of the scary movies i watch alone and when i go to bed its even worse i feel like the killer or whoever is followimg me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I love the "Final Destination" movies. 1,2&3. They make me jump every time. The "Saw" movies are good also. I can't wait to see number IV.

I watch them late at night by myself. Let me check my movie journal:
Evil Breed: The Legend of Samhain~YUCK!
Arachnia~rather like a throwback to Fifties-Sixties creature features~~They should have clipped the nudity and some unnecessary moments to make it much better.
Silent Rage~better back when it first hit movie channels; rather blah now
Hallowed Ground~Actually, I rather liked this one! Hudson Leick is so great in it that I wanted the lead actress to be killed off instead of her!
QUOTE:
"I hope it's not the bird flu. (pause) I hear it's untweatable!"
The Flesh Eaters~I was so impressed with this oldie that I wished I'd taped it. I've heard about the clipped scenes, and I'm not sure that I would want to see them. A couple of scenes looked as if they might have inspired similar ones in "Jaws" and "Deep Rising"!
Earth vs. the Spider~Bert I. Gordon production from 1958 that is kind of fun in a gargantuan creepy crawler way~~Team it up with "Tarantula", "Eight Legged Freaks", and "Arachnia".
Jaws III~At least it's better than Jaws IV.
Food of the Gods~another BIG film and truly awful, not even funny-awful~~Poor Ida Lupino, Pamela Franklin, Ralph Meeker and others who said, "Yes"...
Phantoms~I've watched this one a lot lately. Well, I am a rather ardent fan of Peter O'Toole, but I'm also finding other scenes quite good. I used to dislike this one except for O'Toole until I figured out something about Liev Schreiber's character.
QUOTE:
"Well, it's the Devil~don't you think? Come up from Hell tonight? I think he wants to dance with us."
The Mummy~I've seen this a number of times lately, and it's available On Demand for free! Now, if they'd only show the sequel, too.
Ghost Story~Many years later, I find that I like this much more than when I saw it in the theater.
QUOTE:"I will take you places you have never been, and I will show you things you have never seen.~~And, I shall see the life run out of you."~~very eerie scene!
Village of the Damned (1995)~Watch the original! I had forgotten how poorly done this film is. How sad to waste all of that talent for a film that shouldn't have been made.
Reincarnation~I saw part of this on Sci Fi Channel and hoped they'd show it again; I had a tape ready just in time. This is quite good, with a neat twist near the end that I hadn't foreseen because I assumed I knew something. I've heard that this is part of a trilogy with "Infection" and "Premonition"; I haven't made it all the way through the first one, but I do want to see "Premonition" a second time~when I'll tape it, too!

Obviously, I watch a lot of horror/thriller films. On Demand has shown some interesting ones: "The Roost", "Dead Mary", "Urban Legends: Bloody Mary" and many more. I've come to realize that I should watch for the works of Larry Fassenden, who is doing some very interesting stuff!
