How can I use Sonic to make movie DVDs?!

Question: I want to use DVD's and maybe put more than one movie on a DVD. I downloaded my movies from a torrent website. Most of them are in .avi format. Does it also matter what kind of an DVD player i have?

Sonic will help you "burn" your movies to a DVD. You mentioned having most of them in .avi format, I'm guessing about 700MB each so you should be able to fit about 6 or so movies onto one DVD. Go into the "Data" menu and use the "Data Disc" function to "burn" the files.

To be able to watch them on your TV, you're going to need a DVD player that can play .avi files (I don't know if they even exist). Or you could use an Xbox or somehow connect your PC to the TV with video cables.

If you're thinking about making DVDs like you buy at the store with menus and everything, you're going to need "DVD Authoring" software. Regular DVDs use files called .ifo and .vob and I have no idea if you can even convert .avi files into those files.
