Will Nicholas Cage do any movie they offer him?!

Question: Don't get me wrong. I like him in some movies, but he does lot of bad movies too. I thought city of Angels was terrible along with 8mm. I liked FamilyMan.

Movies that Cage had officailly turned down(only 4):

Constantine (John Constantine - Keanu Reeves)
Once Upon a Time in Mexico (Sands - Johnny Depp)
The Outsiders (Keith 'Two-Bit' Mathews - Emilio Estevez)
Spiderman (Green Goblin - Willem Dafoe)

He was turned down by the studios for several movies. One example that comes quickly to my mind was:
Risky Business - (Joel Goodsen - Tom Cruise). Aren't we all glad that Cage was turned down? :-)

He was also considered for vaious other roles, including Superman Returns, but he was never actually offered the roles.

In the movie, The Outsiders, he originally auditioned to play Dallas 'Dally' Winston, but the part went to Matt Dillion instead. The studio then offered him Two-Bit and he turned it down.

I get what you mean. You know Nicolas Cage's voice sort of....
hurts my ears.

national treasure 1 and 2 are the only ones that i know about. I dont like him very much outa national treasure moviesss.........

he doesn't do any movie, but one questions "Ghost Rider"

8mm and Vampire's Kiss were the worst but he is not bad

Pretty much.

Years ago, they (the movie studios) originally wanted to cast him as Superman for the new Superman movie.

Thankfully, and quite mercifully they found Brandon Routh. Too bad the movie itself was a piece of crap.

I never thought of it this way, but I believe you are onto something there. My brother hates Cage, but I find him tolerable. He has gone through more toupees' than Burt Reynolds. I think he has been O.K., I liked him in Raising Arizona and in Ghost Rider, surprisingly. I give him allowance because he is a big time comic book geek (like me). His stage name is named after Luke Cage, A.K.A. "Power Man" from Marvel Comics. Well, if someone offered you a steady income, wouldn't you accept it? I mean, acting may be trying, but I find it hard to believe it is all that difficult. Good pay for easy work....
