I don't get the very end of premonition?!

This was a very confusing movie. The reason why she was pregnant at the end was because during the middle of the movie, when there was the big lightening storm and she was taking off his shoes they obviously had sex afterwards. So she altered everything in her life that happened after that, including being pregnant with his baby. I know this sounds ridiculous but it's the best way I can explain it.
