Yeah!!! The whole movie is sad but that scene just killed me. And when he went up to the girl and said "Please say hello to me" that made me cry because you really saw how lonely he was.

That is a remake of the 70's classic "The Omega Man". Some things were added like the dog and the formula worked. But, it's already at number 2 which means not so many people liked it dead dog or not.

i just got a dog so it was sad when his dog died.
it was also sad when the mom and the daughter were in the helicopter like crying before they tried to leave new york.
the ending could have been better..
why didn't the scientist just throw the grenade threw the whole the monster had made with his head then jump into the safe?

I think the ending fit the story line. He said several times "This is ground Zero and I can fix this"
Just goes to show that sometimes a cure for one thing is so deadly that it should never have been allowed in the first place.
Anyway, I don't want to spoil this for those who haven't seen it, so it is enough to say that, although the ending was a little disappointing to me, when taken in context with the whole story, everything fit perfectly
Except for a few sections - I did rather enjoy the movie - just don't want that one to become real.

it was sad where his dog died and asked the manikin to say hello to him, man, i got that lump in my throat and i almost cried. the ending was kinda rushed, but other than that, it was a really good movie.

Yes, i cried. It was a great movie until the end, it totally ruined the whole movie. You'll probably leave the theatre angry.
