That is tough considering a subliminal message is buried in the overall movie and you wouldn't know it was there.

That we shouldn't be experimenting on humans to find cures things. I mean its ok to logically think of and test for cures. However things are almost always taken to extremes to find cures. Its these extreme experiments that will be our downfall. We will ultimately take out our race ourselves.
well ive been researching and i think the purpose of the movie is that there is going to be another epic where everyone is going to be contagious such as the spanish flu but also that if us humans arent more careful in what we do then that ismight what happened and just yesterday ive heard of this lady who found a cure for cancer and the government arent letting her put it on cancer vitims and im scared they might let her
I think you chose your words poorly. A subliminal message is buried so that you don't consciously know it's there but remember it. For instance, when movie theaters used to splice in one frame of a soda in a film to make you thirsty and then go and buy a drink.
You're probably looking for the underlying theme of film. The main theme is the dangers of technology -- how the unchecked search for the cure for cancer actually created the apocalypse. The underlying theme is one of society -- specifically what makes a society? Is it the ideals of what a society should be (characterized by Neville's hunt to cure the vampires who have not expressed a desire to be cured) or is the wants and needs of the society as expressed by the people.
That theme was much more prevalent in the book than it was in the movie -- but the skeleton of it is still there. You could also say there's an undercurrent of hope running throughout the movie, especially based on the ending.
