The Same movie over and over...?!

Question: How many times are they gonna re-tell the sam story? Where would the world be without the good hearted white teacher (insert sarcasm here)

The Principle - Jim Belushi (white guy saves troubled inner city students)

The Principle 2 - Treat Williams (sequel to white guy saves troubled inner city students)

Ron Clark Story - Matthew Perry (white guy saves inner city youth by teaching them debate skills or something)

Wildcacts- Goldie Hawn (white lady saves inner city youth through football)

Dangerous Minds - Michelle Pfeiffer (white lady saves inner city youth through poetry)

Knights of south Bronx - Ted Danson (white guy saves inner city youth through chess)

I dont understand. How many times are they going to remake the same story???

Eat Funyuns.

Eat Funyuns.

buy a T-square.

Eat Funyuns.

they're gona keep telling it until people stop paying to watch it.

They will keep telling that story until it stops turning a profit.

Funyuns are nasty!

they keep telling it over and over because the story changes as society and generation changes.
it has the same principle and maybe some of the same scenes but it is not the same, exact story.

I like Funyuns.

Just to help reinforce the issue at hand, here's a few more:

Stand & Deliver (hispanic guy saves inner city youth through Calculus)

Take the Lead (hispanic guy saves inner city youth through dance)

Freedom Writers (white lady saves inner city youth through writing)

Family Guy episode(white DOG saves inner city youth through poetry)

Lean on Me (black guy saves inner city youth)

Have we got the point? The inner city needs our help!

The story? A lot of these movies are based on true stories. I guess they'll stop making them when they run out of stories to tell. The point is that they are filled with redemption. It's about the human heart and our will to succeed through impossible odds. People will always love those stories.

And don't forget the unforgettable John Voight in "Conrack" about a white teacher saving impoverished children in South Carolina.
