How close was the Harry Potter 5 movie to the book?!
Question: I read the book when it first came out (like 4 years ago) so I don't remember anything except when Sirius dies and when Dumbledore gives his "I wanted to protect you" speech to Harry.

i like it but they left out dumbledores hand being all shriveled and dead looking and the ring he's supposed to be wearing, and thats important for six/seven but i guess they could pick that up in the next one, they scrapped the mirror sirious gives harry too, which is also important in seven
i like how there's clues about ginny in there but you don't really see it (spoiler alert) go to crap with cho
well the book was way to big to put all the really good stuff into the movie, but it was close enough to be better than movie 4. l But its been awhile since I read it also

Movie was great, but it left alot out of the book.
i never read the books so i can't tell you, but my friend jupe and she reads and the books are better then the movies but i loved the movies. I thought that they was awsom

The movie is alot different than the book.
it's was as close to the book, as it will ever be, the book cover a very little more and that was it to me. peace out.
Really close they probably both stunk. No offence. I'm not a fan.
it was pretty close, the director had to leave some things out because of the time constrains and all the material in the book will be impossible to fit in a 2 hour movie
