They really don't fit in any where. Take The World Tree. It happens after Goku and the Z warriors fight Nappa and Vichita but B4 they go to Namik. Its not possible as Most of the Z warriors are dead Goku is bed redden and Gohan leave for Namik asap. This is just one example. But The Movies are just there to keep us happy and watching one of the greatest action cartoons of all time, (and it worked) but have no barring on the series
Some of the movies need knowledge of the series (minimal), but nothing that happens in the movies affect the sagas.
