CLOVERFIELD is the story of a group of friends who try to survive during a hellacious attack from some THING that invades NYC.

The hype from CLOVERFIELD began back in july when a teaser trailer of the movie was shown in front of screenings of TRANSFORMERS. Since then fanatics, such as myself, have been searching high and low on the internet for the biggest clues or the smallest tid-bits on what the monster could possibly be. At first CLOVERFIELD was kept kind of low-key by staying away from your average movie advertisement campaign and instead doing a viral campaign by creating teaser websites such as 1-18-08.com, jamieandteddy.com, taguarato.com, and slusho.jp. Just a few weeks ago the first cloverfield commercial aired nation wide on tv and radio, giving it an even bigger hype.

As for the monster, The producer of the film,JJ Abrams, said himself that the monster is of all new concept and has never been thought of or used before. So no Godziila or Cthulhu. Speculations are going around that there will be mini versions of the main big monster.

There is plenty more i could tell you, if you want to know more just e-mail me, ill answer any questions about CLOVERFIELD

No, but they say it will be much better than Godzilla and better than King Kong!

It looks as if they have decided on "Cloverfield" since the trailers are being shown on television with that name.

J.J. Abrams is supposed to be giving us a creature of another kind, and many of us are hoping it's Cthulhu, a being which has never been presented on screen as he should be. This could be it!

From what I've read, there is no way it will be Godzilla, Gamera or any other such creature. It's supposed to be something "homegrown" this time, whether it's The Parasite or Cthulhu or one of his kind. I've seen a number of slow-motion clips, but I can't tell anything from them. I'm sure that's not Godzilla!

Actually, the roar sounds a lot like the black cloud on "Lost". There is a rumor that this film could tie in with two of Abrams' productions: "Lost" and/or "Heroes". I can't quite picture that, and I don't expect it unless the explosion has to do with the time they didn't punch the button on "Lost".
