Which young actor/actress is poised to be th next huge star?!
Question: Of the young actors and actresses working today (under the age of 30) in Hollywood who do you think is poised to become the next huge star of their generation? The next Julia Roberts or George Clooney or Nicole Kidman or Tom Cruise so to speak?
One that i think has a big chance of becoming a major box office draw is Katie Holmes. she does have talent and i think with the right roles she could become a major star.

Dakota Fanning.
Yes, shes a child, but look at some of the stuff shes done. Shes not afraid to do serious drama, but still can do family movies. Shes the youngest actress to be nominated for a screen actors guild award.

I think shes poised to become Hollywood Royalty.

i like kristin cavallari better, but i dunno if she will ever get anywhere. i hope one of the two make it big!

Zac Efron (hairspray, high school musical)-though I don't really like him, but girls are crazy over him and his eyes. And he acts and sings.
Shia LaBeouf (Transformers), great/fresh actor, though he better not get arrested again.
Emma Roberts (niece of Julia Roberts, Aquamarine, Nancy Drew)- She is earnest and has classic good looks.
Hayden Panettiere (Cheerleader in Heroes)-She's making all the right moves, and she's the all American girl.
Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley.

Some young actors/singers may seem on the verge of making it, but one wrong move, like choosing the wrong movie, or not promoting themselves enough, make them fizzle out. For those I mentioned above, I think they have a great marketing team and are making smart choices.
*I agree with Rixhe....I used to LOVE Lindsay Lohan, but she's destroying herself and choosing kinda crappy movies, trying to grow up too fast, or having to be obliged to make movies with Disney. I think she has charisma, but it seems at the moment, she has gone down too far the path of destruction. We'll have to wait at least a year for her to get back on her feet again.
I saw Alpha Dog the other night on Showtime and I was very impressed with Justin Timberlake's performance.
I've never listened to his music, so I don't have any preconceived notions on that score (sorry, unintended pun), but his character was well developed and believable.
WIth the right vehicles, this kid could follow Bing Crosby by going from being a singer, to an Oscar winner.
looking at their current box office movies, they most likely would be huge..
Daniel Radcliffe (it all depends with the roles he accept after his huge debut Potter films)
Anne Hathaway (really good actress..good box office movies..and with good movie offers she may be the next Julia Roberts)
Keira Knightley (another good contender..already been nominated for an Oscar..and she has the Pirates to back her off)
Lindsay Lohan (actually i still think she is really bankable..before she got somewhat weird..her movies are really grossing great..if she fix herself shes on her way to superstardom)
Emily Blunt ( i love her..shes gonna be the next big British superstar..very talented and very witty)
Definitely Ellen Page. She's the main character in Juno and is a fantastic actress.
