It really depends on what type of music you like, obviously people like different types. If you wants some good movie songs then, recently A.R. Rehman has been the best but also look out for Shankar-Ehsann-Loy, and Vishal-Shekar, the pairs generally put out really good music, Hope This Helps

I'd say Shankar Ehsaan & Loy- They are so versatile.
Their music sounded so lame for Taare Zameen par, until I saw the movie and realized it fits perfectly in every scene.
AR Rahman is a genius but somehow most of his songs sound great initially and listen to them more than 5 times- you can't hear it again.
