The President told Ben where the Book of Secrets was. He also asked him to do him a favor and look at page 47. When Riley and Blonde Girl were escaping, Ben took a photo of p. 47 - we just see the page number - and at the end the President leads him away to ask about...DUM DUM DUMMMMM!
On the ride home, we started taking bets about what random history and treasure the third movie will involve...I say returning looted World War 2 art treasures to Jewish descendants!
It's a classic cliffhanger-esque way for the filmmakers to justify creating a third movie despite total plot resolution and simply there not being a need for one. It's like at the end of every monster movie when the last scene is a hand reaching out from the rubble so you know that there has to be another movie because it's still alive.
nope they didnt show it. im pretty sure the 3rd one will be about that. that movie was so beautiful! i cried!
