She went crazy and tried to kill Tony, becauce he killed Manny--his best friend and her just-married husband. Tony warned Manny to stay away from her, because of the criminal lifestyle they've chosen--he didn't want his innocent little sister to get caught up in what they were into. And when Manny chose to follow his heart, he had to pay for his betrayal. But it was really a heat-of-the-moment situation, as Tony would regret killing Manny.
she tried shooting him because he just took the love of her life away from her. he always was there to stand in the way of the fun she wanted to have, he was too protective. perhaps he had a sexual attraction, there definitaly seemed to be sexual tension on his part. i think she was upset and in shock and wanted to take out her anger on him.
