Only a complete idiot could be insulted by this film... it is absolutely hilarious!! I love it. Honestly, though, it really does my head in when people start getting all insulted, I think it is good to take the p*ss out of things, we should really take ourselves a bit less seriously... I think its one of the funniest films ever made. All the hype about insulting religion only made it more popular at the time.

Oh for goodness sake, how can this film be seen as insulting? I'm not christian, far from it, but I have a very close friend who is. She loves this film, it is one of her favourites.

"Splitter!" I loved this movie and so did the good Catholic ex-alter boy I saw it with! This movie and Blazing Saddles always kill me! They can't make 'em like that anymore! This world is too PC to have fun anymore!
Life of Brian is hilarious, Im religious but dont find it offensive, lighten up a small bit.
