the other series are good to but not as good at HP

Harry Potter- Long, good actors, worse and worse each year
Lord of the Rings- Slept in the cinema, but everybody around me says it's the best movie ever made (got the big Os)
Narnia- Good, gooder, goodest (loved the book too)
The Golden Compass- Kidman's good, Craig's good, Green's good, kid's bad, accent's bad, story's bad
Golden Compass, it was the best produced and probably the most expensive from a critical standpoint. From my own opinion the First two Harry Potter films.

No one even thought this series of books could be FILMED properly and yet Peter Jackson DID IT.

i think harry potter because it is very adventurous. harry potter is very popular. thats why most people like it. it has really good graphic if you buy it on high def.
These movies are controversial? I didn't know that. I love Lord of the Rings. Sometimes I just make a day out of watching the whole trilogy. It's relaxing. To mentally escape into a simpler, nobler world of fantasy is just so refreshing.
Harry Potter i love the harry potter books but the movies are not very good they have a lot of things that are in the books but not in the movie and they mess everything up like in fifth Harry Potter movie it was Dobie that found the room of requirement not Neviel still the movies are cool and adventurous.
They each have their good points and their negatives.
LOTRs I really liked the movies, but the books put me to sleep.
Narnia - liked the original animated movie and the live action movie was okay. The books were alright.
The pacing for the Golden Compass was too slow for me, but the concept for the stories and the movies were interesting enough to keep me watching.
Harry Potter - I~m not a real big fan of the books or the movies, but Goblet of Fire the movie was really good. Order of the Phoenix was a jumbled mess. The other Potter movies were just okay.

Harry Potter... i like it best because i'm a huge fan and i read the books, plus i think the special effects and all that other stuff is cool and they did a good job with it....
