I've seen it all coming for a while. Ginny has been obsessed with Harry ever since the beginning. And did you see her face in Order of the Phoenix when Harry stays in the Room of Requirement with Cho? She lingers and looks back at them and seems so sad! As for Ron and Hermione... They do that love/hate thing, but you know they will end up together. It is really apparent in Order of the Phoenix. All of those relationships are much better outlined in the books. You can see them coming more. But I LOVE that Harry and Ginny get together. I can't wait for that kiss in the next movie!! Hormones are raging in Half Blood Prince!!!

Yes. i could see it comming on for a while, but everyone fits perfectly, and Rowling did a great job of paring it all up.
If she had paired Harry and 'Hermio-ninny' then she would have needed to make up a new character for Ron, which wouldnt have worked since Lavander was horrible, and you could see from the beginning that harry and Hermionie were just friends.

i'm glad this is the way it worked out. that way there didnt have to be odd, "outside" characters as dating pairs. loved the way everything worked out.
