I grew up in Orlando, FL where they filmed portions of Parenthood. I also remember when, for the filming of "Honky Tonk Freeway," the town of Mount Dora, FL allowed a portion of itself to be painted pink.

Underdog and 27 dresses were filmed in Rhode Island. The TV show Brotherhood is shot right around the corner from my house. Some of the scenes were even shot at the end of my street.

My Wife and I are originally from Scranton, PA. Moved to southern PA a couple years ago. Our families still live there.
The opening sequence to "The Office" TV show was shot in Scranton. And last year sometime, not sure what the film is caled yet, there was a shooting for a film with Paul Sorvino. They were in town looking for extras.
Transformers some scenes were filmed in Detroit, where I'm from. The scene when Barricade was attacking Sam was filmed at the old central train station they have in Downtown
