Question: play turned into a movie and why is it your favorite. mine is dreamgirls. i thought it was fantastic. i mean both had a dynamite cast and even the changes were great and the newly added songs were awesome. it hink both jennifers,holiday and hudson owned that role and were amazing. can't wait to see some of your answers.

Quills. I saw it performed on stage in my hometown and I thought the story was awesome. And then I saw the movie which has such a great cast who fill their roles so well. Sometimes there are some things you can't really do on stage, certain limitations which disappear when it comes to movies, well-directed ones. I really recommend the movie. Here's a nice trailer:

Amadeus. Based on Peter Shaffer's play, he also wrote the screenplay. If you liked the movie and ever have a chance to see the play it's well worth it.
