i stayed up watching the Godfather trilogy. i liked it but it was kinda long and drawn out towards the end of the movie. I watched it just to see how everybody got axed!!
The acting is pretty damn good. May be the best, but the movie could be better. The plot starts extremely slowly, the best scenes include the final scene very well might be the best in cinema history.
I think the Godfather trilogy is over rated. Lots of posing, but not much plot, nor real intrigue. People say some clever things, great acting and directing, and then a bunch of people get wacked without much information about how these things were determined. Scarface had a realism about it, a taste of the street, a struggle for survival that the Godfather always seemed to lack.
It's a great movie, but I like the sequel better: Godfather II
