A great many consider this to be the best movie ever made. I have seen it thrice and I can see why this would be a top contender.
The scene where Antonius Block plays chess with the devil (death) to bide more time is a classic.
depends what genre would you like to do..
but I'd suggest Requiem for A Dream, it's about the life of drug addicts and more like "anti-drug" movie.
