Vacancy. It was a good thriller with a good storyline. 1408 was like....the childrens wannabe version of it. I must say I didn't like the ending to Vacancy though, it could have done more.
I haven't seen 1408...but I really liked Vacancy.
vacancy was definetly more scarier but i liked 1408 more even if it was kind of confusing

1408 most definitely! john cusak is a great actor and i really liked the movie. vacancy was a major let down.
1408 was way better than Vacancy. 1408 had plenty of great sequences that were simular to Kings story, and was able to be an effective film by the use of the "less is more method" and is in opinion the best PG-13 horror film ever produced. Don't get me wrong Vacancy was a good film, but there have been plenty of other films with a simular plot. 1408 was at least oringinal.
