LOTR trilogy set, regular or extended edition?!
Question: I'm thinking of buying either one of them so I could settle down in the couch over the weekend with some popcorn and soda and watch all of them at once or in a brief period of time. But I can pick either one of the sets. The price difference is big: the regular set with the 3 films costs me approx. $25, but the extended edition goes to $75 and upwards fast. Are the extra's really worth it or would I just waste $50 and more on something that I could regret later on.
Note: I loved the movies a lot, but I'm not a die hard fan of them... no Arowan necklaces or Eragon swords that cost $100 and more here :P

Well, the director's cut is pretty cool, but since the price difference is that big, and you only intend to watch them a couple of times, I'd say go with the regular.
If you are not a die hard fan I would go with the regular
I reccomend you not to. The same director signed on to make The Hobbit. I say rent them and just wait for the hobbit included in the set.
