Should i go see the golden compass. I it good or bad. Explain why.?!
Question: It was okay kinda stupid at parts pretty good at others. Go see it whatever if you don't you won't be missing much either. Read the books it's waaaaay better.
OH AND it had nothing to do with christianity or religion so if you are religious seeing the movie won't like be, unholy or whatever.

bad- it was boring
It is quite good and probably worth seeing. I saw it recently and it is quite boring but there are some exciting bits. I wouldn't say it was the BEST acting in the world but i definately think it is worth a try. I hope you enjoy it!!
i thought it was phenomenal definitely a must see but the book in my opinion is way better it was a little boring in parts but i still loved the movie

If you believe in GOD then don't see it!!! I havn't seen it but I've heard way too many things. I'm a christian that's why I ABSOLUTELY DON'T want to see it!!!!! If you believe then don't go see it!!!!!!
It's a mixed feelings kind of answer.
As a movie by itself, it was good, though I'm not sure people who haven't read the book would understand everything.
As a movie adaptation it was terrible--characters were altered, the story's timeline was altered...it was a jumbled mess of terribleness. I mean..HP and other movies that were book adaptations leave stuff out but this was rediculous. The movie didn't even end in the same place as the book.
I liked it. I definently Recommend it. It had a good plot and a good story line. I can't wait to see Golden Compass 2.
But It was written by a devil worshiper or something like that. I don't really care. I just liked the movie. Who it was written by has nothing to do with the movie.

Maddie you are right about one thing, that it has stuff about killing God. But really, is God saying to Nick..."HEY if you go see that I'm not letting you up here! You will go straight down mister! No, I don't care if you believe that Jesus is my son, not seeing that movie is the path to heaven!" No get over it, it's a story i 100% don't think that a little girl and her army can destroy God. But i mean that's one man's opinion.
