Dirty Harry , or Blondie ??!

Question: How do you think Clint EASTWOOD will be remembered??

to me it's a tie. I really love him in the Spagetti westerns, but Dirty Harry's got that cynical attitude & he's still got those squinty eyes! Did he look the best on High Plains Drifter. Yeah man! 1st 15 minites - just not like him in real life ,but ----who is in acting ??

please dont say the reporter on Bridges, I just cant see Clint sleeping w/another man's wife, --well, he did on True Crime, which was another good movie.

Let's petition him to get out of the directors chair & do one more movie! for old times sake. "The Revenge of Tuco" or something ?? what cha say ??

I'll remember him as an all around good actor in each and every film he has ever been in and directed. He is an Icon in the Business, and very well respected. He also has reigned as Mayor, as I recall, where he lives. Now, that is awesome!

So whats the point your getting at?

maybe you should answer your own question dude!

I believe I'll go with Clint. :)

that's a tough one, I loved him as both.

But I think I'll go with his mother & say Dirty Harry!!

& dont pay any attention to the rude people on here, what little i've been on here, you've never harmed a soul, maybe got into stuff, but youre a really as pretty on the inside as you are the outside!

I'm not sure that I understand your question either. Do you want to know if he'll be remembered for playing good guys or bad guys? You'd be surprised by how many people tend to think of Harry as a bad guy protected by a badge! Are you asking how we will view him?

His nice guy roles are good, but people do seem to like a rough around the edges Clint.

Remember that in "Beguiled", he seduced a number of females. In "Play 'Misty' for Me", he was a "player", picking up Evelyn in the bar, not realizing he'd selected a crazy lady. But, I think it's the shady guy many of us like.

"The Bridges of Madison County" is sort of a nice guy role. They do give in to temptation, but he leaves to never return. Pardner in "Paint Your Wagon" is a fairly good guy except for the unusual marriage. So, even his nice roles aren't exactly good guys, are they?

I think people will remember him as an all-'round actor, capable of playing drama and comedy. They'll remember that he developed into an admired director. Let's hope that future generations WILL remember him because so many remarkable actors/directors/etc. have been forgotten by the majority of the population.

Actually, the squinty eyes are gone. Clint recently went and got some plastic surgery and now looks like a wind tunnel victim - http://cityrag.blogs.com/main/2007/01/cl...

I'm gonna remember him more as Dirty Harry, of course. Growing up near NYC during the 1970's makes those movies closer to home for me. On a side note, there's even a drink named after him:

The "Dirty Harry"
--------------------
2 parts Southern Comfort, 1 part Kahlua, and 3/4 part of Creme de Cacao. The drink is served over ice in a tumbler glass.
.

by the music in the good, the bad, and the ugly

Someone who revived the western genre and as an activist.

Sorry, think I'll have to go with Heartbreak Ridge. He protrayed a pretty fair jarhead Gunny.

To me there was no better gun-slinging cowboy!

I'll stick with Blondie. He was more than fair with every one he dealt with; and he had Great music.
