i actually think the ship battle in Nemesis was good too, and Deep Space 9 had some epic stuff also. But this one was perfect...absolutely perfect. It was the ultimat because it was made for trek fans, period. Khan was evil, yet genius. I like the use of Dickens as a ending of the movie, and the "Revenge is a dish best served quote" listed as a klingon proverb but i think is a unversal constant.
Also the sacrifice of Spock, back before it was used a lot to punctuate movies. Now its used to often.
Ok, that one part where the Klingons put those slug things in the Enterprise's guys helmuts and they crawl in their ears GROSSES ME OUT. Yeah. I can't watch that part.
For me it is the best battle of over-acting between William Shatner and Ricado Montalban. The movie is a guilty pleasure.
