What's this film? (long shot here)?!

Question: I'm afraid I can only be VERY vague...

I saw this film like 10 years ago, I was about 7, but I don't know if it was new then...

I think the opening titles were looking down on some children's play earlier, then a motorbike drives around and into some woods.

There's this bit where some girls are playing in a bell tower and one is blindfolded and the others spin her around, then there's a fire or something, and the bell falls off, and somehow she gets trapped inside the pieces of the bell... not literally though, like her soul or something...

There's also a fairground in there somewhere, oh and something about the moon...

Like they have to find all the pieces of the bell before the full moon or they'll lose her forever (or something like that).

Please can anyone help? This has been bugging me for YEARS, literally.

xx

...sounds something very much like Disney's 1980 supernatural mystery, "Watcher in the Woods"...

(edit)

...don't worry your pretty little head over this; I know that this might negate one's belief in a benevolent God, but even I, the mighty 'frightfilmfan', gets stumped on a movie, now and then...

...uh, that's not TOO over-the-top and conceited, is it??? I can never tell!!! (LOL)

Im not sure. Was it based on a true story?

He's definitely correct about Watcher In the Woods..
