Which one as Elizabeth do you Prefer Cate Blanchette or Hellen Mirren. I just sa!

Question: I had previously seen Helen Mirren's Elizabeth I, and yesterday decided that I wanted to watch the new Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Before watching it I went and got the first Elizabeth (Cate). I love Cate but I must admit I felt the movie was so empty and lacking compared to Helen Mirren's. Maybe I would have liked it had I not seen Helen’s. What do you think? Also, in the trailer for the golden age, from what I’ve seen, is that Cate has been influenced greatly by Helen’s role. Love both of you ladies.

Hellen. But maybe I'm prejudiced by the appalling inaccuracies and anachronisms in the costume and script of the Blanchette movie!

Sorry, I'm not gay so I'm unable to answer that.

Different Elizabeths!! Not really a comparison.

Helen Mirren was very, very good.

Dame Judy was fantastic with Billy Connoly, I think she is my favout EI

Personally i prefer Anne-marie Duff in the Virgin Queen as Elizabeth the first, check it out if u have not. From above i prefer Cate in Elizabeth.

Actually, I'll stay with the actress who is supposed to have presented the most brilliant portrayals of Elizabeth I ever: Glenda Jackson. I've never seen anyone who could surpass her interpretations. Bette Davis was truly remarkable, too. But, Glenda Jackson definitely brought her to vivid life.

The Elizabeth with Cate Blanchett was awesome.

Helen Mirren is wonderful. I want to be her when I grow up!

Dame Judy Dench was the best Elizabeth I ever.

glenda jackson beats them all hands down..bbc series 1970s
but i much prefer cate to helen mirren, she captured the passionate nature of a young queen much better
