i saw this movie when it first came out. my thought was over 3 hours of black and white sad story. but i watched the movie with enjoyment . This movie showed sadness and evil doings of people, but also the spirit and humanity of others. i am no means a movie critic, but this is a got to see. It touched me for a long time and the true story will stay with me forever.

I think it's a very good movie but it is depressing. Especially the scenes where it looks like snow but it's really the ashes from the people who were put into the furnaces. That was a terrible time in history. Sickening. I would recommend it because it is both entertaining and education in my opinion. And by entertaining I mean the performances in the film are very good.
It is an excellent movie probably Spielberg's best.

It was a beautiful film, it's easily Spielberg's best (maybe because to me Spielberg is usually overrated).
You definitely should watch this movie. Even if as it turns out, you don't like it, you can get something out of it.
