Why do so many mainstream movies show people at the toilet? It's disgusting?!

Question: Quite a few movies have come out showing men taking a leak at the urinal, and men or women sitting on a toilet taking a crap- I don't want to see people on the toilet in a movie-
There were many examples- Off the top of my head, there was the kid taking a leak in 'The Sixth Sense', and Tom Hank's character's urinary infection in the Green Mile- and most disgusting- the lead actor peeing and drinking his own filtered urine in 'Water World'.
But I will admit the crapping scene on Dumb and Dumber was very funny.
Does anyone else find the frequency of 'peeing' scenes in movies totally bizzare?

You are right. Now the question is 'what is the definition of mainstream?' You sound superior to the mainstream. Sadly, the dumbing down of the masses has occured. That doesnt mean you have to go see movies, however. I find it extremely difficult to find a good one anymmore. The ads created make them look great then when you view, you realize the only best part was in the ad.

You know, I am glad someone else feels that way. I fully agree. They even add it to humor people in comedies and I find it to be more disgusting than humurous
