The title of the film itself momentarily breaks the suspension of disbelief when it occurs within the film. The moment that the title occurs, it reminds the viewer that they are watching a movie. When the title manifests itself in one form or another, it interrupts for a fraction of a second the suspension of disbelief. The interruption reminds the viewer that he or she is watching a film. That moment is called the "nort."
