The Goonies 2 - Do you think they should make it?!
Question: I know there have been plans to make a Goonies 2 for a while but it doesnt look like they are going ahead with it.
What do you think? Should they make a Goonies 2? I for one would love to see this made.

They are making it right now, and it's going to have all of the people from the original movie in it. I know that one of the actors died a few years after it was made, but I think that I heard that it's going to come out sometime in 2009. I cant wait to see it. I love the first movie.
I think it would've been great if they could've made a sequel a few years ago but not today. The actors are in their mid to late 30s (maybe even early 40s) and the magic of being a kid wouldn't be there. And that's what made the original so great. I've read up on the possible sequel ideas and to have new kids play the children of the original cast would just ruin it for me. I don't want to see a new batch fill the shoes of the old Goonies. And not to mention that Chunk isn't fat anymore! He's my favorite character and we all know you can't have a new Goonie movie without a "truffle shuffle" scene. I just need the original, I don't need a sequel.
i think NO! never! goonies was soo awsome! and sequels are always terrible. it would ruin the goonies legacy. im glad they decided not too..
I agree with the above person. There is no need for a Goonies 2 movie, but from everything I've read, they are still planning on making it. The original movie was made back in 1985. Maybe had they made one shortly after that, it would have been okay. They'll only screw it up these days. Leave a classic movie (at least to me) alone!

no way. there isn't anyway it could compare to the first one. I'm not even sure how they would make it a sequel. It would have to be the original goonie's kids or something. I would rather just watch my original. It's my favorite movie.
