Should my friend and I see Alvin and the Chipmunks or Enchanted?!
Question: Which of the two should me an my friend see? We are 13 years old and we're going with my 8 years old sister (and my dad). Which one will be a better choice?

I took my daughter (10) and her friend (also 10) to see Enchanted on opening weekend. They both loved it and talked about it for hours after it was over. However, when they saw the preview for Alvin and the Chipmunks, they both said they wanted to come back and see that. I, myself, would prefer to wait for Alvin to come to DVD.
alvin and the chipmunks, it is way better
"Enchanted" is wonderful.
The chipmonks movie would have been better as a cartoon.

i went with my 5 year old cousin to see enchanted and she got soo scared!!!
But the local YMCA (which caters for kids 5-13) went to see Alvin and the chipmunks and in think they all enjoyed it.
Go for alvin and the chipmunks if you think your sister might get scared.
but i really don't think your dad would like enchanted!!!

Enchanted. My 7 year old cousin fell asleep in Alvin. That's how bad it is.
And as for your dad: as an adult myself, Enchanted was WAY more bearable.

Either one is great...but I would do enchanted.
Enchanted, 'nuff said. I don't even need to see Alvin and the Chipmunks to make my decision.
I haven't seen the Chipmunks but Enchanted was absolutely adorable. I wish I'd gotten to see it twice before it went out of my local theater. You should definitely go see it.
