I am legend question for everyone who has seen the end of the movie!!!?!
Question: When I saw the trailer of the movie Will Smith at the end was surrounded by those zombies(or whatever) and I thought that it was the end and he would sacrifice his life to kill them,but when I saw the movie at the end he runs towards them and he sacrifices his life.I don't understand why are there 2 different kind of endings.In both of them he dies but in different situations.Why is that?

when a movie is released the production companies like to test audiences' reactions to different situations. Every DVD you own that has an alternate ending was probably actually seen by an audience while it was still in the theater. It helps them decide how the movie is recieved to a more diverse audience. These days everything makes it way onto the DVD but they want to make as much money as possilbe while it is in the theater.
i think one was an alternate ending.

Sometimes movies will use footage that never made the final cut of the film in their trailers. Once in a while, viewers will be left looking for a specific scene in the movie that was in a trailer and but never find it.
yea alternate ending...I HATED THE ENDING!
It was really great movie and then bam.....it got ruined

i watched the movie 2 times (bootleg dvd)
as well as the movie trailer and what i've learned is
that they dont make a movie trailer in the same order as
the movie in order to make it more appealing to people as
well as to make the movie appear to have more action than it really has.
