Loved it. Me and my mates went out for hamburgers afterwards. Is this awesome? (y/n).

i loved it! it's unlike any movie i've ever seen. and johnny depp is so versatile. he's a very good actor. the movie was more funny than gruesome to me. it really wasnt as gross as i expected it to be. and i love musicals.

it was a good movie

Unseen opinion--very strange premise. After seeing it, I will probably love it--after all, my man Johnny is in it! Now, I jsut have to find somebody to go with me....... Hubby is NOT into that sort of movie.

Fuck1ng Brilliant...

It was good. i really liked it. like there is alot of blood and killing but in the end its too funny and entertaining to really think of it as murder. in the end everything gets tied up well. and i really liked the two main character. also the songs were good and entertaining. it was so of a dark horror film but i thoroughly enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed the original musical staring Ben Kingsley. However the historical accuracies are completely off. It is rumored the original Sweeny Todd was a man in the 1800's who was evicted from a town, and went to live in a cave with his wife. They were very insane. They had many children, who they started to raise as an army (I believe about 10 all together), and when intruders or hikers would pass by the cave the children were to kill them, and Sweeny Todd and his wife then pickled the remains. Eventually the military came in and killed them all. They found about 50 different remains total. This may be myth, or fact, I'm not sure, but that's the original tale of Sweeny Todd. The musical is entertaining. I haven't seen the new movie yet, as I'm not a fan of Tim Burten's movies.

The movie or the musical? Having experienced the pleasure of both, I'd have to say that nothing compares to the musical, but the movie was absolutely stunning in its own way. The film was indeed very, very gory - can't complain about that. And Johnny Depp can sing! Whooda thunk it?

I think you may be related to him. I don't know if you mean the person or the film. The person was changed to a monster by circumstances and I haven't seen the film.

don't know him

It was certianly a different movie but that is good. It was nice to see something that used a little imagination. Can't say I have ever eaten a meat pie before and probably never will.

Too much gore and blood.
