I watched the movie just last night. The beginning of the film was amazing, especially the way they recreated New York city to look abandonned. I found that the longer the film progressed though, the more uninteresting it became. There were more unexplained plot gaps too. The ending wasn't entirely bad; it just seemed that it wasn't as deep and moving as it was intended to be. Overall, I would say that it is worth a watch, but perhaps renting it on DVD would be better.

My dad said it was dumb he said during almost the whole movie it was just him and the dog and the ending was stupid. Also my dad ot his money back and left.
This is the third time they have done this film; it may be unfilmable

it was an ok movie. my boyfriend loved it. im just not a "zombies jumping out at you" kind of person. it was also sad which i don't really like but the whole story was great and will smith was awesome too.
I thought that it had an interesting premise - especially since the last time the source book of this was made into a movie was what? 30 years ago?
Unfortunately it didn't deliver anything different and turned out to be most depressing.
Watch Omega Man instead.
The ending was okay, though I thought the film was good.
