I think that the cop checked inside of thier butts to make sure that they weren't hiding anything. Sometimes criminals put drugs and other stuff up their butts to hide it and smuggle it without being caught.
Also, when they walked out of the airport, you saw Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker walking kind of funny right? It's because that cop put his hand up their butts with the glove on.
