The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford - I thought the movie is very well made, has an uncanny feel to it. Absolutely riveting performances by both Pitt and Rockwell. However on a few occasions I found the violence very unnerving. An absolute must see for Pitt fans.
Charlie Wilson's War - I was honestly surprised! I didn't expect much from this movie, inspite of the studded star-cast. I didn't like The Da Vinci Code and like many others thought that Hanks had completely lost it, however the movie turned out be be rather entertaining. Well if you dig 'political sataires', you would call it a classic.

I have not seen either, but Charlie Wilson's War is getting a lot of Oscar buzz. Also, it co-stars the great Philip Seymour Hoffman, who won the Oscar for Capote, and Tom Hanks, who won for Forrest Gump, and Philadelphia. So if the movie is good, it will be great to see two of our generations best actors working together. I can't wait to see it.

No contest here, it's "Charlie Wilson's War". Tom Hanks is just great in this one. It's actually a true story too. It kind of shows you why we are in a mess in that area today too.
