Question: Just saw this movie called Joshua and I was wondering what you thought of it. Was the uncle abusing the little kid or was this kid just evil? What is your take on it?

After watching this movie all the way to the end, I was left feeling that both the uncle and Joshua were both evil and that history had repeated itself in consecutive generations. When the mom was committed, the uncle was talking to the husband and said something about mental illness running in the family. At the end something was said about "no one understanding us," which led me to believe the uncle drove his parents crazy and raised his sister, and now Joshua did the same things and will raise his sister.
