Just how bloody is Sweeney Todd?!
Question: I hate gory stuff as i'm pretty squemish, but I love Johnny Depp's films. For those who have seen Sweeney Tood, can you give me a bit of insight into the level of blood and gore that's in the movie? I want to see it because according to IMDB.com he's not in anymore releases until 2009... a year without my favourite actor??

My best friend and I saw this movie and she is the same way! She loves Tim Burton/ Johnny Depp films but is a little uneasy around blood. but she was fine. she had to look away once I think but thats it.
Its not too bad, if you can handle the duo's version of Sleepy Hollow than you can def. handle this.
Plus, with Tim Burton blood it always looks rather fake haha.
Victims are killed by getting their throats slit but other than that...its nothing.
Great movie though! def worth seeing.

i havn;t watched sweeney todd but by the looks of it it is pretty bloody since it is about revenge and murder and obviously blood but i guess you can go through it for ur fave actor
The blood is more theatrical and over the top and not horror film gory. There are some scenes that are graphic but nothing scary or too sickening. I would definitely see it...a great musical and story.
I wouldn't watch it. I've avoided movies of my favorites for the same reason. Do you want Johnny Depp's image tainted in your dreams by bloody nightmares? What the eye sees the mind can never delete...
it is ok if you want to see blood movie then try this one this is real evil and a horror
