Question: How did everyone feel about the ending? Did you like it or hate it??
I actually liked what they did with the movie. Just curious on how others felt... thanks

I was surprised. I definitely think it was highly unlikely that the events would transpire the way they did. However, it made me feel good. Sounds weird. I'm not a very big Russell Crowe fan, but I thought he did a good job. For a long movie, it went along at a good pace. The only thing I would say, is to re-cast the guy from Hostage and Big Trouble. He was ok, but they could have had somebody way more badass than him. Odd ending or not... I would recommend this to people. Especially if you are a fan of movies like Tombstone. Not nearly as good though.

I liked it.

Don't normally like Westerns but thought this remake was excellent. Liked the ending. Thought 3:10 to Yuma was much bettter than The Assasination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford which was far toooooooo long.

I liked it. It wasn't as sappy an ending as in the original 3:10 to Yuma (1957) which starred Glenn Ford as Ben Wade and Van Heflin as Dan Evans. In that ending, BOTH fellows jump on the train and head to Yuma. Through an open boxcar door, they both smile and Dan waves to Emmy as she pulls up alongside the railroad tracks in her horse and buggy.

I actually thought it was pretty predictable. My boyfriend kept saying, "Why did he have to die?", lol. He wasn't a huge fan of the ending, but I think it had to happen that way in order for the bad guy (whatever the name of Crowe's character was) to have his epiphany.
