Yes, I saw it when it came out. Its a load of rubbish. The best bit is where E.T. wears a wig - it looks just like Gail from Coronation Street.
i think most people have seen that film...i believe its 1908s....what a shoddy film but back in the day it was good.

Ummm... Is this a trick question? E.T. does NOT ride a bike! But, he does phone home~collect I think. I imagine there are people in the world who have not seen the film though that's an odd notion since it's one that everyone can enjoy, rather like "The Wizard of Oz", an equally obscure film. *giggle*

I've seen it maybe 3 times when i was a tiny bit younger :) I dont want to see it again though cause ill cry for an hour :P its soo sad :(
Not obscure enough! It didn't seem too bad when it came way back in ... whenever it was ... but I wouldn't want to watch it again.

I think most people have seen it. You could say it's a classic. But I don't recommend it. It was OK for it's own time. But they make much better movies nowadays.
Saw it, was bored, never watched it since. Apologies to Mr Spielberg, but he does'nt always appeal to everybody. On the plus side Saving Private Ryan was awesome.
