Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy...before their marriagges known as Bellatrix Black and Narcissa Black. They are sisters, and are Sirius Black's cousins. Narcissa Malfoy had Draco Malfoy, making him Sirius' .... duhn duhn duhn... second cousin.

In all honesty I really don't think there is any connection. Now if rowling would have mentioned it in the book then it would have meant something. I am guession Warner was just looking for slytherian names to throw on the tree.
The producers of the Harry Potter movies cannot "make" a connection between Harry and Malfoy. Only J.K. Rowling can.
it was malfoy, harry's enemy at hogwarts. the family tree charted the relationships of the blacks to other families, and in the book it says that there are so few pureblood families left that they are all related in some way or another, so the blacks and the malfoys are related in some way through marriage, and the malfoys are put on the tree.
if you mean Malfoy then its no mistake. He is related to the weasleys and the tonks as well.
Yes, Sirius Black and Draco Malfoy's mother are cousins. There is also a Potter in the Black family tree, so Harry might even be a distant relative of the Blacks.
Sirius Black is the Distant Uncle by marriage to Draco Malfoy. Draco's mother is Narcissa Black-Malfoy, Sirius's cousin. Which would also make Bellatrix Black-Lestrange who is Narcissa's sister his Cousin as well.
And even though you do not see mention of her until Book 7. The oldest of the Black sisters, is Andromeda Black-Tonks. Who was disowned for marrying a muggle. Tonks is her daughter and hence Draco's cousin as well as Sirius's.
Well Sirius Black is Harry's godfather and he's related to the whole Slytherin family isn't he? But if he was a godfather he wouldn't be related to Harry would he? I'm confused..
