I'm going to have to add my vote to the Bourne movies. However, the first Matrix movie (most certainly not the other two) was good. Check out anything involving Jet Li for some serious martial arts. Unleashed is a good one.

Equilibrium - It's a movie about a society controlled by sedatives to prevent all emotion, since they believe emotion causes war, hate, violence, etc. Anything that can cause emotion is banned - art, music, etc. Rebels are fighting to keep their way of life, and are considered the outlaws.
Imagine The Matrix (it has trippy special effects) meets...ummmm....Just watch the movie, it'll trip you out
